It's a GREAT DAY to be a
TIMBERJACK!
The Championship loss hangover is
officially over, the one week mourning of the 2008 Championship
run has passed, and it's time to get up and scream to the world
"LET'S GO TIMBERJACKS!!!"
There is one final piece of business before
we say farewell to the 2008 season, and that is to show our
appreciation to our players, coaches, game day staff, and fans
that work so hard to make Timberjack football a success!
To all the players: You worked very
hard from January right up through the championship, sacrificing
time with family, sore Thursdays, Sundays, Mondays, and
ever other day. Your dedication was translated into a well
oiled machine on game day. Your professionalism, love and
respect for the game was translated into class and sportsmanship
on the field that is rarely seen above the High School
level. You are the faces of the organization and you have
done a fantastic job of making everybody proud of the M&M
Timberjacks.
To all the coaches: To Joe Plautz and
TJ Buscher, you work tirelessly throughout the week to create
productive practices and game day strategies. You put in
more time and work than any other coach in the entire league,
and it is reflected in the product you put on the field.
To Dan Buyarski, Larry Merrill, and Tom King, you provide the
support and assistance to make Joe and TJ more productive.
Your loyalty to them and our program are underestimated by most,
but truly and sincerely appreciated by everyone within the
Timberjacks family. Our coaching staff as a whole is the
best in the league and will continue to be the cornerstones of
successful Timberjack football.
To all the Staff and Volunteers: You
have the dubious honor of performing the tasks that are rarely
recognized. Mike Van Rens puts in as much time as the
coaches, attending all practices and games for the purpose of
making sure our players are hydrated and keeping track of all
Timberjacks equipment and supplies. Your service is
invaluable to the team and we thank you so much for your time
and dedication.
Amy Bohl also attends all practices and
games, taping players, evaluating injuries, and providing
comfort to the players in the knowledge that if something gets
hurt,
she is there to tend to them.
The rest of the game day staff:
Public Relations-Kelly Vandermuse and Jeanne Anderson
Announcer-Brian Nutter
Clock Operator-Steve Eland
Videographer-Jason Kehoe
Chain Gang - John Hollo and Brett Boivin
Water and Ball Boys
Admissions-Linda King and Sandy Patz
You all work together to help make game day
enjoyable for all the fans and players. Your hard work and
dedication help make Timberjacks home games the envy of the
league, and make each and every one you an invaluable asset to
the Timberjacks family.
Finally, To all the Fans: You have
braved the hottest of days, the coldest of nights, and sat
through cold rain to come out and support the Timberjacks.
You have missed Packers' preseason games and Brewers' playoff
games to show your hometown heroes how important they are.
You truly are the best and most loyal fans in the league, and we
are honored to be able to perform for you each and every week.
Sincerely,
Shane and Jason King
